Potato Head at Dusk

A 6 p.m. ritual from Seminyak's most photographed beach club.

Editor at large

There is a moment, around ten to six, when Potato Head becomes a specific thing. The crowd arrives; the sun drops; the stack of amphitheatre seating begins to fill. Cocktails are already cold.

The ritual is not the cocktail. The ritual is the angle of the light, which over the course of seventy minutes turns the beach from lemon to oyster to rose to indigo. Everyone stays for it.

You do not come here for the beach. You come here for what the sky does to it.

Book a sunset table by 4pm, then walk the sand afterwards when the crowd breaks.
